Hire/Charter for the vessel Scooby Doo Too
1. Introduction
The following sets out the terms and conditions
under which the vessel Scooby Doo Too may be
chartered. The document forms an agreement
between the owner and the club/party or individual
hiring of the vessel.
2. The Vessel
The owner will make available the vessel Scooby
Doo Too, licensed, insured and carrying the regulation
safety equipment as set out in the MCA code of
practice for small commercial vessels. The
vessel will also carry a licensed skipper and a
crewman when appropriate.
3. Payment
A booking fee is required to secure a booking, this is
normally £50.00. The balance is due on
completion of the charter. For multiple bookings
the booking fee is simply carried forward.
4 Size
of Party
Our licence restricts us to 12 passengers plus 2
crew. These limits will not be exceeded under
any circumstances.
5. Weather
Please call us on 01984 631310 or 07778 750939 the
night before your sail to check weather conditions.
We acquire weather information from a number of
sources: shipping forecast, inshore forecast,
internet, T.V. etc. Then based on local
knowledge the skipper will decide whether or not
to sail. Intelligent interpretation of the best
data available does not guarantee a correct decision.
It's the skippers nightmare to drag you to Watchet
and then not be able to put to sea. This rarely happens.
